Land Acquisition Manager – Renewable Energy Development

Location: Texas

Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 + Bonus + Benefits

The Opportunity

Viridis Talent is partnering with a well-funded renewable energy developer seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to identify, negotiate and secure sites for future Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage projects across Texas.

This is a highly commercial role that will sit at the front end of project development, playing a crucial part in building a long-term pipeline of renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential project sites across Texas
• Lead negotiations with landowners, attorneys and local stakeholders
• Secure lease agreements, easements, purchase options and other land rights
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and landowners
• Work closely with development, permitting and grid teams to evaluate site viability
• Support due diligence activities and project acquisitions
• Maintain accurate records and reporting throughout the acquisition process

Requirements

• Previous experience within land acquisition, real estate, infrastructure or renewable energy development
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable engaging directly with landowners and community stakeholders
• Understanding of land contracts, title issues and property rights
• Ability to travel extensively throughout Texas
